The SolarMax SM-LFP-24100 scales the LFP platform up to a 25.6V, 100Ah pack for 2.56kWh of rated energy, aimed at mid-size backup requirements that outgrow a 12V bank. It uses an 8S1P cell combination, the same metal case construction as the standard 12100, and is rated for ≥6,000 cycles at 80% depth of discharge — backed by a substantially longer 5-year product warranty plus lifetime free service warranty.
Communication steps up from the 12100’s Bluetooth-only setup to a full interface: RS485, RS232 and CAN alongside built-in Bluetooth and WiFi, with a touch LCD on the unit itself. This makes the 24100 a better fit for installations that need remote monitoring or integration with a hybrid inverter’s BMS communication port rather than local Bluetooth checks alone.
Up to 16 units can be combined in parallel, and the unit ships with a genuinely complete accessory kit — DC cables, wall bracket, BMS cable, battery quick connector, WiFi antenna, and the communication cabling for RS485/RS232/CAN — so an installation doesn’t need to source cabling separately.
