Pylontech Fidus Plus 16kWh Energy Storage Lithium Battery:
The Pylontech Fidus Battery Plus is a single-cabinet, 16kWh-class extension of the FIDUS platform, aimed at homes and light-commercial sites that want one large storage unit instead of stacking several smaller modules. It carries a nominal capacity of 16,076Wh and — unlike the standard FIDUS — is rated for a true 100% depth of discharge, so essentially the full nameplate capacity is usable on every cycle rather than the 90–97% window typical of smaller LiFePO₄ packs.
Two variants are available: the standard FB-L-16 and the FB-L-16-Pro, which extends the safe working temperature range for colder installation environments. Both support a very high continuous charge/discharge current of 200A (300A peak for 15 seconds), which is enough headroom for large single-phase or light three-phase residential loads without needing to split the load across multiple battery units.
Safety engineering goes beyond the standard BMS protections: the unit includes a multi-layer protection design with a built-in (optional aerosol) fire suppression module, and the enclosure is built to a C5-M anti-corrosion rating with an IP65 ingress rating — rated by Pylontech for extreme cold regions, direct water jets, dust, and salty coastal air. Day-to-day status is visible on the onboard LED/display screen or remotely through the companion app over built-in Bluetooth and WiFi.
