Overview

The Dongjin DJ12V-40Ah Dry Battery is a sealed, maintenance-free VRLA (Valve-Regulated Lead-Acid) battery rated at 12V nominal with 40Ah of capacity, built for mid-size UPS and small solar backup applications. In addition, being sealed AGM construction, it needs no water top-up over its service life and can be mounted in various orientations without electrolyte spillage risk.

Float charging voltage is specified at 13.50–13.80V (or 13.60–13.80V on smaller models) with a -18mV/℃ temperature compensation factor — meaning the ideal float voltage adjusts slightly as ambient temperature changes, a standard VRLA design detail that keeps the battery from being overcharged in hot weather or undercharged in cold. Also, the battery is rated for a nominal operating temperature of 25℃±3℃ (77℉±5℉), with a wider tolerance band across charge, discharge and storage conditions.

Terminal type is T4/T9, with copper terminal material for reliable conductivity, and the unit weighs 12.5kg.
