GoodWe’s ES Uniq Series inverter, available in 3–12kW capacities, is specifically designed for residential PV installations. This 6kW model offers flexible compatibility with both on-grid and off-grid systems and supports parallel connection of up to 6 inverters for easy system expansion. The ES Uniq inverter features a user-friendly touch-screen LCD display for intuitive operation and monitoring, and can be combined with a range of battery capacities and brands, including GoodWe’s Lynx A and Lynx U batteries.

Smart Control & Monitoring

The ES Uniq inverter is built for effortless day-to-day management. Its smart load control feature lets homeowners schedule or switch household loads on and off automatically, helping maximize self-consumption of solar energy. In the event of a grid outage, the inverter performs a seamless switch to backup power in under 4 milliseconds, so connected loads barely notice the interruption. An optional AI-driven Arc Fault Circuit Interrupter (AFCI) continuously monitors the DC side for dangerous arc faults and disconnects automatically to prevent fire hazards. The enclosure carries an IP66 ingress protection rating, making the unit dust-tight and protected against powerful water jets – suitable for both indoor and outdoor installation.

Superb Safety & Reliability

Each MPPT channel is rated for up to 20A of DC input current per string, and the inverter supports up to 200% PV input oversizing, allowing installers to connect a larger solar array than the inverter’s nominal rating to capture more energy across the day, especially in low-light conditions. Comprehensive built-in protections – including PV string current monitoring, insulation resistance detection, residual current monitoring, reverse polarity protection, anti-islanding protection, and Type III DC/AC surge protection – are integrated as standard.

Higher Power Generation

A 3-in-1 port consolidates the generator, smart loads, and on-grid inverter connection into a single interface, simplifying installation and wiring. The inverter also supports micro-grid operation in coordination with a separate PV inverter, ensuring stable, autonomous power supply even in off-grid or weak-grid scenarios. Up to 6 units can be connected in parallel for both on-grid and off-grid operation, enabling the system to scale with growing household energy demands.

Flexible & Adaptable Applications

The ES Uniq inverter is compatible with a wide range of battery chemistries and brands, including GoodWe’s own Lynx A and Lynx U lithium battery series as well as third-party lead-acid batteries (AGM, GEL, and Flooded types). It supports On-Grid, On-Grid + Backup, and Off-Grid operating modes, and integrates with GoodWe’s SEMS Portal and SolarGo App for remote monitoring, firmware upgrades, and system configuration.
