The GoodWe ET LV Series inverter (5–20kW) is a three-phase hybrid inverter built for residential PV systems, offering seamless integration with low-voltage (48V) batteries. With seamless switching to backup power in under 4 milliseconds, the ET LV ensures essential household loads stay powered without any noticeable interruption, even during a grid outage. The inverter is fully compatible with generators, including the ability to draw on generator power to recharge the connected battery bank – giving homeowners an added layer of energy security during extended outages, cloudy periods, or emergencies where solar generation alone isn’t enough.

Each MPPT string on the ET LV accepts up to 20A of input current, and the inverter supports up to 2x PV input oversizing (200%) relative to its nominal rating – letting installers connect a larger solar array to capture more usable energy across the day, particularly in low-light or partially shaded conditions. Dual independent battery inputs (on the higher-capacity models) deliver a combined total of up to 416A, enabling greater energy throughput and giving system designers more flexibility when sizing storage for homes with high energy demand or plans for future expansion.
Smart Control & Monitoring
Beyond fast backup switching and generator integration, the ET LV supports remote monitoring and configuration through GoodWe’s SEMS Portal and SolarGo App, giving homeowners and installers real-time visibility into system performance, battery state of charge, and grid interaction, along with the ability to push firmware updates remotely.
Superb Safety & Reliability
An optional AI-driven AFCI (Arc Fault Circuit Interrupter, version 3.0) continuously scans the DC side for arc faults – a leading cause of PV system fires – and disconnects automatically the moment a fault is detected, restoring operation once conditions are safe. Type II surge protection devices (SPD) are fitted on both the DC and AC sides to guard against voltage transients from lightning or grid switching events. The enclosure carries an IP66 ingress protection rating, meaning it’s fully dust-tight and protected against powerful water jets from any direction, making it equally suited to indoor or outdoor installation. An anti-corrosion C4 rating further extends its suitability to coastal and humid environments.
