The iTel IGT-12KTA is a transformerless, three-phase, grid-tied solar inverter designed for homeowners and businesses who want to reduce their electricity bills by exporting solar power directly to the utility grid rather than storing it in batteries. With dual independent MPPT tracking channels and a maximum efficiency of 98.7%, it extracts near-optimal power from connected panel arrays across a wide 180V–1000V MPPT voltage range, accepting up to 15,600W of total DC input. The transformerless design contributes directly to that high efficiency figure by eliminating a source of conversion loss found in older transformer-based inverters.
