The Jinko Tiger Neo 720W (JKM720N-66HL5-BDV) is an N-type bifacial solar panel with dual glass. It comes from JinkoSolar’s Tiger Neo 66HL5-BDV series (710-735 Watt).
Overview
The panel uses 132 half-cut N-type monocrystalline TOPCon cells, so it reaches 23.18% module efficiency at 720W. It also generates additional power from light that reaches the rear side. At 2384 × 1303 mm and 37.5 kg, it is a large-format module. You need fewer panels, structures and cable runs per kilowatt. For this reason, it is a good match for commercial, industrial, agricultural and large residential systems.
N-Type TOPCon Technology
Tiger Neo modules use N-type cells with Tunnel Oxide Passivating Contacts (TOPCon). According to Jinko, this technology offers lower LID/LeTID degradation and better low-light performance. As a result, the panel starts generating earlier in the morning. It also keeps producing later in the evening and on overcast days. Moreover, a power temperature coefficient of -0.29%/°C helps preserve output in high summer temperatures.
HOT 3.0 and SMBB Technology
Jinko’s HOT 3.0 technology gives N-type modules better reliability and efficiency. At the same time, SMBB (super multi-busbar) technology improves light trapping and current collection. This raises module power output and reliability.
Dual-Sided Power Generation
As a bifacial dual-glass module, the panel collects reflected light on its rear side. The gain increases with backside exposure to light, so it significantly reduces LCOE. The bifaciality coefficient for Pmax is 80 ± 5%. Under BNPI conditions (front 1000W/m², rear 135W/m²), the rating of the Jinko Tiger Neo 720W is 795Wp.
Enhanced Mechanical Load and Anti-PID Guarantee
The module holds certification for a 5400 Pa front-side and 2400 Pa rear-side maximum static test load. It has a 2.0 mm anti-reflection coated front glass and a 2.0 mm heat-strengthened back glass. In addition, it has an anodized aluminium alloy frame and an IP68 rated junction box. Jinko’s Anti-PID guarantee also minimizes the chance of degradation caused by PID. It does this through optimized cell production technology and material control.
Warranty
The panel carries a 12-year product warranty and a 30-year linear power warranty. First-year degradation is 1%, and annual degradation is 0.40% over 30 years. Therefore, it guarantees 87.4% of rated output at the end of year 30.
