The Dongjin DJ12V-12Ah Dry Battery is a sealed, maintenance-free VRLA (Valve-Regulated Lead-Acid) battery with a 12V nominal rating. Its capacity depends on the discharge rate: 7.8Ah at the 1-hour rate, 11Ah at the 10-hour rate and 20Ah at the 20-hour rate. This is normal for lead-acid batteries, because usable capacity depends on how fast you draw it down.

Thanks to its sealed AGM construction, the battery needs no water top-up during its service life. It also has a 10-year design life.
