The Kyoritsu KEW 6300 Power Meter is a portable power meter that offers 12 kinds of power measurements. It suits energy audits, load studies and demand monitoring in factories and buildings.
What It Measures
The meter covers voltage (RMS), current (RMS), active power, apparent power and reactive power. It also records active energy, apparent energy and reactive energy. In addition, it measures power factor (cos θ), frequency and demand. It can even show the current flowing on the neutral line, but only on 3 phase 4 wire measurement.
You can also measure regenerative electric power, because the meter detects both consumed and regenerative power. Regenerative power is the electric power that a private generator produces and supplies to the electric power company.
Wiring Systems
The meter supports 4 types of wiring system:
- 1 phase 2 wire, with 1ch, 2ch or 3ch
- 1 phase 3 wire
