The SolarMax SM-LFP-12100 is a 12.8V LiFePO₄ (Lithium Iron Phosphate) battery module built for residential and small commercial backup, rated at 100Ah for 1.28kWh of usable energy. It’s designed as a 4-series combination (4S1P), and Solar Max backs it with 3 years of product warranty plus a lifetime free service warranty — a genuinely long coverage window for a battery in this capacity class.
The metal-cased module is rated for more than 6,000 cycles at 80% depth of discharge, with a maximum charge current of 100A (20A recommended) and a maximum discharge current of 100A (50A recommended), giving it real headroom over a typical daily cycling load. Charge and discharge efficiency both sit above 97–98%, and the unit tolerates a 0–60°C charge range with a wider -20–60°C discharge range.
Built-in Bluetooth handles monitoring and maintenance without extra hardware, and up to 4 units can be combined in parallel or series for larger banks. A full protection suite covers over-charging, over-discharging, short circuit, overload and over-temperature conditions.
