The Solis 8kW single-phase low-voltage hybrid inverter (S6-EH1P8K-L-PLUS) belongs to the S6-EH1P(3-10)K-L-PLUS series, an advanced residential energy storage inverter designed for use with low-voltage batteries in the 40–60V range. It features two integrated MPPTs, each with a current capacity of up to 21A, and is compatible with a wide range of lithium and lead-acid battery brands, giving homeowners the freedom to choose the storage that best fits their needs.
Designed for both on-grid and off-grid applications, the S6-EH1P(3–10)K-L-PLUS series offers a rich feature set – including generator compatibility, grid-tied PV inverter coupling, parallel operation, and smart load management – making it a scalable, future-ready solution for residential solar-plus-storage systems.
Reliable Backup & Uninterrupted Power
With seamless on/off-grid switching in under 10ms, the inverter guarantees an uninterrupted power supply so essential household loads stay running during a grid outage. It also delivers 200% overload capability for 10 seconds in off-grid mode, providing the surge power needed to reliably start motors, water pumps and air conditioners. A customizable battery backup level lets you reserve energy for critical loads, while smart load management extends backup time by prioritising the circuits that matter most.
Flexible Solar & Battery Configuration
Each of the two MPPTs supports up to 21A of PV input current, making the inverter compatible with today’s and future higher-power PV modules, and it accepts PV input up to 160% of its rated DC power to maximise solar utilisation across the day. On the storage side it works with virtually any battery between 40V and 60V, and it can integrate with an existing PV grid-tied system through AC coupling for export control and off-grid use – a cost-effective way to retrofit and expand.
Scalable, Generator-Ready & Smart
Up to 6 units can be connected in parallel, and the series can even form a three-phase system for larger installations. Multiple generator connection methods with automatic On/Off control enable flexible local deployment and extended backup duration during prolonged outages. The inverter is managed through a 7-inch industrial-grade touchscreen for intuitive local operation, and through SolisCloud for smart remote control, AI optimisation and instant troubleshooting. An IP66 enclosure ensures dependable operation in harsh indoor or outdoor conditions.
