The Korean inverter 2kW (PowerGen 2kW, model 2KW-PV3000-12V) is a compact solar inverter for small homes. It runs on a single 12V battery and takes up to 3000W of solar input. In addition, it can charge the battery from grid power when sunlight is low. At just 5 kg, it is easy to wall-mount almost anywhere.
Korean Inverter 2kW Solar Input
A single MPPT tracker accepts up to 3000W of PV input. The MPPT range runs from 30V to 400V, with a 450V max. PV input voltage. Because MPPT efficiency is above 99%, the inverter gets the most from your panels. Similarly, peak PV-to-inverter efficiency stays above 95%.
Battery and Backup Power
The Korean inverter 2kW works with 12V lead-acid or lithium-ion batteries. For lithium batteries, charging adapts automatically to the BMS over RS485. It charges at up to 100A and discharges at up to 150A. Meanwhile, it delivers 2kW from solar plus battery, or 1.6kW from the battery alone. It also handles a 4000W peak when appliances start up.
Output, Cooling and Warranty
Two AC output ports supply 230V at 50/60Hz. Moreover, current harmonic distortion stays below 3% of nominal power. On the grid side, it accepts a wide 90–300V input range. In addition, a 17A bypass lets grid power run your loads directly. Intelligent air cooling also keeps it running from -10°C to 60°C. The unit meets IEC/EN 62109-1 and 62109-2 safety standards. Finally, it comes with a 5-year warranty (2 years free, 3 years service).
